A MESSAGE TO OUR STUDENTS: YOUR FUTURE IS NOT A POLITICAL PAWN!!

You may have different ideologies, different opinions and a completely different way of thinking and that is absolutely fine. Democracy thrives on differences.

But as a student, if you cannot support someone’s cause, please do not become an obstacle in their movement. Do not throw ink, create violence, abuse anyone or deliberately disrupt a peaceful protest.

If a fellow student has a genuine grievance or demand, remember that Article 19 of the Constitution protects the right to freedom of speech and peaceful expression, subject to reasonable restrictions. Exercise that right responsibly and lawfully.

Your primary responsibility as a student is to study, build your future, develop your character and respect the expectations of your parents, teachers and society. You are the future of this country.

Do not allow anyone to fill your mind with hatred, misinformation or political propaganda. Do not let political interests use your energy, your anger or your future for their own agenda.

My message is especially to students: do not get provoked by one another. Do not fight among yourselves. If someone deliberately incites you to attack, abuse or disrupt others, pause and think whose purpose are you actually serving?

You have every right to question, disagree, protest and raise your voice. But do it with dignity, discipline, facts and peace.

Be a student.

Be responsible.

Think independently.

Stand for what is right.

Do not become anyone’s political pawn.

Your future is far more important than someone else’s political agenda.

Study today. Build character today. Build a stronger India tomorrow.
